  1. Guidance on ZeroH Inclusion & Single vs. Separate Policies
  1. Should ZeroH be included in Blade Labs’ Privacy Policy? • Yes, if (a) ZeroH is legally part of Blade Labs (i.e., a product line or affiliate under the same corporate umbrella), and (b) it shares the same overarching data-collection/processing practices and corporate compliance regime. • Possibly No, if ZeroH has additional, separate regulatory obligations specific to Islamic finance or local banking regulations (beyond standard data protection laws), requiring more detailed disclosures or separate user consent flows.
  1. Can we use one policy across all brand websites? • Many organizations use a unified “global” privacy policy covering all related brands/affiliates, especially if data is processed and governed centrally. • A single policy is typically fine when the core data-handling principles and legal obligations are consistent across brands. However, you may still need brand-specific addenda or disclaimers for specialized requirements (e.g., Shariah compliance, local financial regulations). • Example: “This Privacy Policy covers data handling for both Blade Labs and ZeroH. Where ZeroH has unique regulations or obligations, additional disclosures are provided in the ZeroH Addendum.”
  1. Do we need further information about ZeroH to finalize a single policy? • Yes. If ZeroH’s data collection and usage patterns differ meaningfully from Blade’s standard practice—e.g., collecting more financial details, requiring additional KYC under Islamic finance frameworks, or storing transaction data for different durations—these details should be explicitly addressed. • If ZeroH must comply with special regional or sector-specific data privacy standards (e.g., Qatar Financial Centre Digital Asset Regulations 2024), you may need to add a section detailing local compliance or cross-border data transfer restrictions relevant to those markets.
Summary & Next Steps • The attached updated Privacy Policy (dated January 8, 2025) can serve as Blade’s foundational policy. • If ZeroH is fully integrated into Blade’s data flows without extra unique data processing, you can fold ZeroH into this same policy by referencing it alongside the other Blade affiliates. • If ZeroH has distinct Islamic finance compliance obligations or collects user data differently (e.g., extra KYC, financial forms, transaction logs), consider adding an extra “ZeroH” or “Financial Services” section to outline the unique data-handling processes.
If you need to refine further with ZeroH-specific compliance or data-collection details, feel free to provide additional information (e.g., domain name, local regulatory frameworks, types of data collected in Islamic finance agreements), and we can tailor an addendum or a dedicated privacy policy section.
